Preparation of Road Safety Plan 2021 – 2030 for County Meath

Meath County Council is currently working to develop the next Road Safety Plan for County Meath for the period 2021 to 2030.   This plan will have regard to the Government’s Road Safety Strategy and its overarching mission to save lives and prevent injuries by reducing the number and severity of collisions on our roads.

We wish to invite submissions and comments from the public and interested groups in advance of the plan being finalised, on the key issues affecting road safety in County Meath and what the road safety priorities should be over this period, to best address these issues.

Submissions or comments relating to the new Road Safety Plan may be made in writing to the Road Safety Officer, Transportation Department, Buvinda House, Dublin Road, Navan, County Meath; submitted through the Council’s consultation platform on the website at  https://consult.meath.ie  or emailed to  transport@meathcoco.ie to arrive not later than 5pm on Wednesday 17th February 2021.

Respondents making submissions should note that Meath County Council is subject to the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act 2014 and the Data Protection Act 2018.
